First it said "family friendly". We walked in what we assumed was the front door (based on the parking lot) and a rude woman said, "you have to sit in the back...you have kids." Well it didn't look like a bar. I saw no alcohol.
Good home cooked meals. It's a great lil place to eat. And the shrimp are huge!! Also onion rings with the house sauce is out of this world
Food came out. My mother's salad and mine were BROWN. They tried to serve us rusted lettuce! It was nasty. We sent them back. Second round was slightly better. Tasted like it was a week old.
We went to the back...no tables big enough for us back there. Had to sit my kids across the room from the rest of us.
Worst food we've had in this town so far. Now...bear in mind...I'm not some fancy food critic. I actually LIKE hamburger helper. So this is not coming from some food snob...this was BAD.

Laughed at the menu. It said we serve Kraft macaroni and cheese and the price for a side of this was $2.99! WOW. isn't Kraft M&C like $69 a box?
The kids said it was the worst food they've ever had...and they've had pretty bad food! Mom's baked potato was a decent size but my potato was half that size. The roll...was larger than the baked potato!
Food hereis always good no matter what you get. The most famous food to get here is the fried fish basket, thier chicken and onion tings are very good too. On the lighter side their soup selection always has something to satisfy a craving for something hot. Classic diiner style ferl and great sevice
Food was very good. Nothing fancy on the decor, but comfortable. The gizzards were the BEST I have ever had. Very tender and a large serving. We will go again.
The waitress was nice enough. But the food and the other people working there would make us never return.
Then on the dinner menu...you had a choice of 2 sides. But...if you wanted macaroni and cheese there was a $.99 upcharge. Really? Kraft macaroni and cheese costs more than a baked potato or french fries?
