This Buffet is reasonably priced, has a good variety of food that is prepared in front of you. The decor is antique train station. And lots of fun to look at while you're there. Also the service is great.

I don't generally like smorgasbord restaurants, but the Back 40 is a pleasant exception. Great food, good service, and pleasant ambiance makes for a great time with friends!

Where to start? The vegetables are provided by, three, local, Amish farms.
The mashed potatoes had tiny little lumps in them.
Did I mention that everything is made fresh, from scratch on the premises? Well I guess I just did.
Come hungry. If you leave hungry, well there is something wrong with you.
Apple pie, bread pudding with either vanilla cream or rum sauce, butterscotch pie, cherry delight, apple crisp, sugar free cherry pie, peach cobbler, hard dip ice cream and sherbet.
Salad bar, bread bar fresh yeast rolls with, cinnamon butter and APPLE BUTTER, banana bread,and orange bread.
THE food overall for a buffet was really good.Prime rib and brisket was great.Definitely a good variety of items.Oh yes the fried chicken was just right.THE waitress and other staff members were friendly and willing to show you around if you had never been there. Only bad thing was a little pricey!
1st time there. Was very nice,really good buffet. The gal who brought my drink was very helpful, showing me where everything was and what they had.
Being Saturday night, it is BBQ night. Brisket, pulled pork, ribs, chicken, turkey and prime rib.
I highly recommend that you eat dessert first.
